Technical Issues - Updating HASP Security ID Modules

HASP Security ID Modules may be remotely programmed. This lets users add new FilmStar programs such as MONITOR or MEASURE without returning modules to FTG Software. This procedure replaces a complex older procedure.

1. Get Module ID...In any FilmStar program, click File...Configuration and select the Security tab to obtain the Module ID of the key to be updated.

2. Run Programmer...After receiving your ID code, we will compile and upload a short program using the Module ID as file name (i.e. 5A32FE42.exe). Download to your FilmStar computer. The Write button updates the matching key. Program choices are pre-set.
